A signing ceremony and awarding of permit was successfully conducted by the Mines and Geosciences Bureau – MIMAROPA Region (MGB–MIMAROPA) with Universal Basalt Aggregates Corp., marking a significant milestone in the project’s regulatory and permitting process. The permit issuance confirms the client’s compliance with applicable technical, legal, and environmental requirements under Philippine mining and environmental regulations, and reflects the government’s commitment to responsible and sustainable resource development.


Peña Development Company, Inc. in partnership with Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) announced the execution of Land Donation Agreement in Palawan that signals the strengthening of fisheries development initiatives not only in Puerto Princesa but in the whole of Palawan. In a ceremony Mrs. Edelwina Peña and Mr. Teodoro Eugenio Peña Jr. of Peña Development Company, Inc. signed the donation alongside BFAR- Mimaropa Regional Director Roberto R. Abrera, witnessed by BFAR officials, as well as representatives from the Provincial Government of Palawan, and Barangay Sicsican, where the subject property is located.
RAS participated in the Sangguniang Committee meeting regarding the proposed Fuel Depot Transfer Project, regulatory requirements, environmental safeguards, and the applicable permitting process. The discussion focused on environmental risk management, compliance with national and local regulations, and coordination with concerned agencies to ensure that the proposed transfer is implemented in a manner that protects public safety, the environment, and community welfare while meeting all statutory requirements.


RAS coordinated the public hearing in La Union for the Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC) application of Isla LPG, ensuring compliance with DENR–EMB public participation requirements under PD 1586 and DAO 2003-30. The activity involved proper stakeholder notification, conduct of the hearing, and systematic documentation of issues, concerns, and project commitments, forming an integral part of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process and supporting transparent, participatory decision-making.
